Some parents encourage children to leave the home once they become adults; others want adult children to continue to live with them. Both views will be discussed in this view. However, in my opinion, children should leave the parental home rather than staying with them.
To make their grown-ups smarter and more independent some parents encourage their children to consider leaving their house once they reach a certain age. This is because adults learn about the importance of financial independence and emotional maturity only when they step out into the real world and face the challenges themselves. For example, when young people live away from their parents, they learn to manage their finances. They even pick up valuable life skills like cooking. Actually, many young adults who leave their parental home for studies or employment can perform almost all household tasks like cooking and cleaning without help. Living on their own also enables young people to enjoy privacy.
On the other hand, young adults who stay with their family are believed to have stronger traditional values and family ties. This means that young adults staying at home develop a very close bond with their immediate family and this instils in them a firm sense of cultural belonging. However, many youngsters become overly dependent on family and even compromise their privacy when staying with their family under one roof. For example, Indians stay with their parents even after they turn 30 and learn to adjust but this costs them their privacy.
To conclude, staying with family even after reaching adulthood may bolster the ties; however, in my opinion, young people should live on their own to become financially and emotionally secure adults.

Pursuing higher education in top universities has become the latest trend in this contemporary world. While many parents motivate their children to stay far from their homes to accomplish their dreams, others still believe to keep them connected with the family. In my opinion, grown-ups should have the privilege of staying away from family, provided they adhere to the cultural roots.
To embark with, due to the advancements in technology and highly competitive world, one should be able to develop the respective skills and education to sustain in the marketplace. Thus, for this reason, an individual should be persuaded to relocate to other places, wherein they get better career opportunities. This approach tends to create job satisfaction in the future.
On the other hand, still, there are families who do not permit their juveniles to stay away from home. This is because of fear and paucity of trust causing the family members to keep their children to stay along with them. Additionally, the youth may forget the cultural roots of the family and may start disobeying their parents, which literally hurts them to a great extent. In the recent survey conducted in Cambridge university, around 50% of the youth generation got accustomed to a different world such that they hardly feel connecting back to their family once in a week at least. Consequently, parents prefer educating and settling their kids within the family such that they are always within their cultural boundaries.
To Compendium, Parents should provide freedom to the young generation to choose either staying along or away from their dear ones, but ensure they abide by the traditional customs of the family.

People’s opinions differ as to whether youngsters should be encouraged to live separately from their parents when they become adults or they should continue to live at their parents residence. Personally, I agree with the former viewpoint.
Those who argue that children need to stay with their parents as long as possible have their reasons. Firstly, many people believe that parents need their children’s support in their old age. Living together as a family is necessary in order to provide physical as well as emotional support. For instance, if parents are suffering from some serious illness, having children close would help them stay strong and recover faster. Secondly, it is thought that when children stay at their parents house, the bonding between them is strong. Staying together means family members are likely to discuss their personal problems with others and can seek guidance whenever needed.
However, I side with those who feel that children should be motivated to stay separately in their adulthood. One reason is that they would become self-dependent. Living away from home, they will learn how to be responsible, how to spend money wisely and how to deal with difficulties. This will be really beneficial for them in their social and professional lives. Another reason is that youngsters will get privacy in their lives. It is often seen that youngsters face various problems while living with their parents due to generation gap. Therefore, if they choose to stay alone, such problems would not be there. They can live their life in whatever way they want.
In conclusion, while there are reasons to believe that living together with parents can be beneficial, my own view is that youngsters should live separately because of professional and privacy reasons.
