Automation is the driving force of human lives. Labour-saving machines like dishwashers and telephones have not only made lives easier but also played a pivotal role in reducing stress. This essay will discuss how modern technology is a boon to mankind and reduces stress in our daily lives.

Some people argue that modern day devices make their lives stressful due to the time involved in understanding their functionality. However, it is worth noting that all these devices come with instruction manuals to guide the users and to enable them to use these devices to their maximum capability. For instance, washing machines save time by washing the entire pile of clothes at once, thus saving hours of labour involved in washing clothes with hands. In fact, this enables the user to concentrate on other important tasks that need individualistic attention.

It is often believed that advanced machines are expensive and increase financial difficulties, thus making lives stressful. However, it is important to understand that once we have made the initial payment, we can use them for years. For example, although mobiles are expensive to buy, the convenience it lends in terms of communication with loved ones surely overshadows the pricing factor. Perhaps, with the evolution in technology, companies are coming up with cheaper substitutes, with a view to make technology accessible to everyone.

In a nut-shell, this essay discussed how labour-saving machines are a boon to mankind and how they make our lives less stressful. In my opinion, there are no qualms about the fact that machines save time and offer rich benefits in comparison to the price we pay for them and thus reduce the stress in our lives.

Continuous / ongoing developments in the automation industry has produced machines capable of performing just about any task.  However, a few individuals argue that these gadgets are making human life more stressful. I do not agree with this viewpoint because I believe that technology and its products in the form of various devices like washing machine, cellphone, computer etc. have made our daily lives less complicated.

Invention of labour saving devices is a boon for mankind. It reduces the physical hardship of humans remarkably. Mankind is surrounded by such devices and now they cannot think of a life without them. From simple Bread toaster to high-tech Smartphones with AI, these machines have not only replaced the human efforts but also played a vital role in saving time. For instance, one would have wasted a lot of time if one had chosen to wash clothes by hand. Instead of this, he can use a washing machine to wash the piles of clothes together in very less time.

However, some claim that new age smart devices are increasing burden on human lives. There may be a few reasons for this. Firstly, these technological devices are not pocket friendly for everyone. It is very commonly seen that people take loan to buy such expensive gadgets. This can create financial as well as mental stress. Another disadvantage is that some devices are not easy to use. By the time you learn to use a device, an updated version may have arrived and you have to start learning again. This can be stressful for people, especially the elderly.

To conclude, technological devices have now become an inseparable part of human lives. Sometimes, they may become the reason for stress if not handled properly; however, I believe they are largely helpful and desirable in our daily lives.

    Hi Manjusha, I’ve a query

    I’m confusing in Agree/Disagree essay.

If we agree the topic given, the structure (I think ) follows as :-

    Introduction ( agree)
    Para 1 ( agree statements +ex.)
    Para 2 ( disagree statements )
    Conclusion ( on agree ).
Is this correct format ? or I should lie on total agree statements ?

Waiting for a reply, Thanks in advance.

If you agree with the given statement, then the whole of your essay should explain why you agree. Do not mention any reasons to disagree.

Automation was emerging trend in today’s world in reducing stress and manpower. Labour-saving devices makes our life more comfortable and reduces our hurdles. My inclination falls in line with this view.

Modern technology plays a major role in reducing physical work. To begin, Mobile phones demoted the communication gap between people. For instance, during 90’s people need to travel for meetings but now they can talk leisurely for hours. Furthermore, washing machines and dishwashers reduced the work and made people to engage in other personal works.
Finally, may be in coming decades computers can be able to replace drivers in automotive vehicles.

On the other hand, some people assert that these modern devices are difficult to operate in their daily usage but these are user-friendly to operate.
Firstly, every electronic appliance was held with a user guide for easy operation of the machine.
Secondly, if a machine was installed there would be a lifetime service from the company in which it was manufactured.

In conclusion , I opine that modern technology can able to save time with proper operation and it was only meant for demoting stress and work but not for creating issues.

Some people believe that to become successful in sports one should have a natural talent. Others think that perseverance and practice are a crucial part to success. Discuss both views and give your own opinion?

It is often argued that famous sports personalities usually born with natural skills and talent. However, other people think that they do a lot of practice and hard work to achieve in their life. I also agree with this perspective that hard work is the key to success and without perseverance and strong determination, no sportsman achieves success in his life.
To begin with, there are numbers of sportsmen available in this world that have been performing extraordinary in their sports since their childhood. These fortunate players born with natural skill and talent which help them to get success in their life. A study conducted by Harvard University found that people born with natural skill perform inconceivably better than other players. Hence, they have an extra advantage in their life as compared to the other players.
Nevertheless, it is always argued that hard work is the key to success and a sportsperson can actually improve their game by perseverance and stiff practice. There is a lot of examples available in the world where people have no initial background to the sports and later on with the hard practice and bulldog determinant skills they have achieved success in their life. For example, Mahendra Singh Dhoni a famous cricketer who used to play football in their schooldays and later started playing cricket and an achieved success only because of the hard work. Therefore, natural skills are not always required to achieve success in their career.
After analyzing the above scenario it is not very hard to come on the consensus that hard work and strong determinant skills make the sportsperson a successful in their career. However, it is also not denied that people with natural talent have always an upper edge in their game as compared to other players.
