In recent years, there has been an increased demand for places like parks and squares for celebrating occasions like festivals and events. Many people believe that public outdoor places are a crucial part of all towns and cities. This essay will further elaborate my views for favoring the positive impact of this trend and thus lead to a logical conclusion.
There are multifarious points to support this view. The paramount one is that these places promote physical health among the people which will make their lifestyle healthy. A good example of this would be that in every city people go for yoga, walk or exercise in parks as there is no place in their house to do such things. Additionally, it also helps the young generation to learn traditional values by spending time with their grandparents as well as it also promotes local traveling among people.
In addition to this, another crucial point to put forward is that having parks in the city also helps us to counter pollution. As many trees are planted in parks they will consume carbon dioxide and release oxygen so we can get fresh air. These trees also help to make the city cooler. Moreover, it is a great place to socialize as people can spend time with their families and can also meet new people. Apart from the reasons mentioned above it can be clearly stated why many are in favor of this trend.
On the other side, we should not overlook the fact that constructing outdoor places everywhere is not a great idea due to overpopulation and shortage of land. For instance, in some cities, there is less area for constructing buildings such as hospitals, schools, and many more. Thus, we can say that the development of medical and educational institutes also plays a vital role in our society.
To conclude, while it is true that cities are space starved, it makes sense to allocate some space for building parks and squares. They provide an area for people to socialize and also reduce air pollution.
