In the progressive world we live in today, artists are still valued. Although science and technology better our lives, they still cannot help us see the essence of life or go on a self-discovering journey. For this very reason, people have profound respect for all forms of art and artists.
The main advantage of art is that it offers relaxation and entertainment. Technology has made our lives more frenetic. Of course, it has brought a lot of comforts, but it has caused stress as well. People desperately need to unwind themselves after a stressful day at work. Reading a book or listening to some soothing music helps them relax and get ready for the next day. Art also teaches people to seek and find beauty in everything.
Art in any form such as ancient paintings, historic monuments, traditional music, and works of literature have deep stories to narrate. It teaches the value of non-materialistic things in life, bestows nature’s beauty, the greatness of humanity, and self-love. Technology fails to do this. Thus, artists bring out real joy and add meaning to our lives through their masterpieces. For example, the mythological story of Mahabharat throws so much light on everyday life problems and ways to address them without affecting human relations through the application of the right moral practices.
In conclusion, art and artists are still important because they help us see life from an aesthetic perspective and allow us to relax ourselves and find beauty in everything. For these reasons, artists are still valued.
