It is true that shopping malls have had a profound impact on the business of small shops and as a result of this, many local vendors have closed their shops. In my opinion, it is a positive development due to the number of advantages offered by shopping complexes.

Large shopping malls are preferred shopping places for the vast majority of people. This is primarily because these malls provide one stop solution to every need of their customers. These places sell everything, such as branded clothes, kitchen appliances and electronic gadgets, that their customer wants. Apart from catering to the shopping needs, these places act as a perfect picnic spot for many families as there are food courts and cinema halls in the same building. Many people prefer to spend their leisure time at these spaces and rejuvenate themselves.

Large shopping malls have also removed major inconveniences such as the lack of parking facilities and time taken to travel from one shop to the other. As these malls are situated in a large building, dedicated parking space is available for consumers to park their vehicle. They can enjoy their shopping without worrying about their vehicles being towed away by the government authorities. Moreover, by shopping at these places, a person can save his precious time. There is no need to hop from one shop to another in search for their preferred thing. As many people face shortage of time, the time saved can be used for more value added activities.

In conclusion, large shopping malls have made shopping convenient and hassle free by stocking all the items under one roof and eliminating parking woes. Hence, in my opinion, their advent is a positive development.

Recent trend clearly reflects consumers are preferring malls over local shops. This is definitely a positive sign for the buyer, seller and economy of the respective country. Considering the fact large scale purchase can only be executed at a shopping mall as there are plenty of retailers with ample brands and variety to be offered. Shopping malls have a large number of sellers commencing business in a designated area which helps buyers to locate them easily, unlike a local shop which has limited offering for the customer and the buyer has to reach out to many such local shops to acquire the commodity he’s looking forward to buy. Since, the shopping mall has many sellers with unlimited options for the buyers , A buyer can always evaluate all the commodities and make the final decision. Hence, the over all experience of the buyer gets improved.

Malls location is very strategic in nature which ensures its not far from the buyers , so it also reduces the travelling time for the respective consumers. In shopping centres the pricing of the products are usually on the lower end , One can also find amazing deals so this setup does make the buyer delightful.
From time to time mall retailers also organise fest & grand sale for instance X-mas sale and many other festive sales. During such bumper sale period the foot fall increases in multiple folds. Many foreign ultra premium brands also participate in sale mega sale setup, consumer can get hands on such premium products at discounted rates.

I was very happy and it was joyous moment when i have realised that i have won a coupon which can be availed at one of the mot premium food outlet in the mall. I have particularly won this coupon as i was a regular and loyal buyer of a brand. Apart from shopping of apparels, one can also visit shopping malls to dine. There are various options available in the mall itself , one can always find international cuisines too. Multiple other activities can be performed in the malls such as gaming , visiting a theatre Etc .

I would like to conclude shopping malls are definitely a boom for the buyer and the economy, as the over all experience of the buyer improves drastically and a local shop wouldn’t be able to match such standard.
