Examiner: Do you work or study?
Candidate: I am working as a graphics designer with a newspaper.
Examiner: What do you like the most about your job? Why?
Candidate: What I like the most about my job is that it keeps me engaged in something creative all the time. I like to play with colours and shapes. I get a high when my colleagues appreciate my work.
Examiner: Do you travel a lot?
Candidate: No, I don’t travel very often. That said, I do take some occasional breaks. I am a history buff, so I enjoy visiting places like Hampi and Mahabalipuram.
Examiner: How do you usually travel, by bus or by taxi? Why?
Candidate: Well, I travel by all available means of transport. I prefer buses and trains because they are cheaper. I hire a taxi if my family is also travelling with me.
Examiner: How easy it is to get about in your area?
Candidate: Thrissur is well-connected by roads and rail so getting about is not an issue at all. My office is about a 15 minute’s drive from my home. I take a bus to go to work.
Examiner: What part of your country would you recommend to visit? Why?
Candidate: As I already said, I am into history so I would recommend places associated with history. In my opinion, the historic sites, palaces and monuments in the country are worth visiting because they give us a better understanding of our glorious past. I will also recommend hill stations. There are quite a few of them in my country.
