Sample response
I am writing to suggest a few ideas for improving the library facilities. I am a regular user of your library. In fact, it is one of my favourite reading places.
I absolutely like the automated borrowing system which allows me to reserve the books and magazines online. When I arrive, they are always ready for collection. As a result, I don’t have to waste time looking for those items on the shelf. Also, I never have to make unnecessary trips if what I am looking for is not available.
However, there are a few things that make the library less useful as a study area. For instance, the noise levels are pretty high during peak hours and hence readers find it difficult to concentrate. In addition, the air conditioner is always set at low temperatures, which makes the basement and other parts that are not exposed to sunlight extremely cold.
I would like to make a few suggestions to remedy these issues. The first is to reserve insulated, quiet study areas for people who would like to read or study inside the library premises. The second recommendation is to decentralise the air conditioning unit. This will allow people at different parts of the library to control the temperatures on their own.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
Yours Sincerely,
Ahmed
