IELTS Letter Sample | Letter To Friends For Holiday At Their Place
You recently spent a vacation at the home of some friends who live in a different city.
Write a letter to your friends. In your letter:
- Thank your friends for letting you stay with them
- Describe some things you enjoyed about your vacation
- Invite your friends to visit you

Hope you both are keeping well. I reached my place yesterday. Thank you so much for letting me stay with you during the holidays. I absolutely enjoyed every moment I spent with you guys. I wish I could stay longer.
Chinju, you are such a wonderful cook. The taste of your cutlets and cakes still linger in my mouth. Now that I am cooking for myself, I can understand that I am nowhere near you in the culinary department. As for Jay’s songs, well, I couldn’t hear enough of them. As you know, I have recorded some of his songs and I still enjoy hearing them.
By the way, when are you going to spend a vacation with me? Christmas is round the corner. Do you think you could make it to my place during the Christmas holidays? If so, we can plan a trip to Mahabaleshwar. Do let me know what you think.
