Band 7.5 IELTS essay sample
All countries around the globe will encounter different issues like growth in population, lack of access to education and healthcare in addition to the environmental issues which are already there. My country, India will face challenges of population explosion and unemployment in the next decade. These issues have to be addressed with proper government plans and schemes with stringent execution.
First of all, India’s primary problem is the exponential growth of population, which will be crossing that of China in the next decade making it the most populous country in the world. This is a major concern which has to be addressed quickly. The other challenge will be lack of employment as there are many unemployed youngsters in the country. If these issues are not tackled in the near future, they will have great impact on the livelihoods of the people.
To address the aforementioned issues / the issues mentioned above, the government has to initiate strong steps to control the population. There should be a common law that limits the number of children per couple to a maximum of 2 regardless of their religion. Also, families with one child should be given incentives and whoever violates the law should be deprived of all social benefits.
Simultaneously, new employment schemes have to be introduced along with simple policies for industrialization and self employment schemes to address the unemployment issue. Local and NRI entrepreneurship should be promoted extensively to invite investments and to create more jobs in the country.
In conclusion, India will be facing serious unemployment and population issues in the next decade. Better population control methods and schemes have to be introduced to address the population issue. Also new liberal policies and plans need to be implemented and executed strictly to create new jobs.
