Recent studies indicate that environmental degradation, population growth and lack of educational facilities will pose a threat to nations all over the world in the coming years. In my country, unemployment and lack of access to adequate healthcare will be the biggest problems in the coming years. However, these obstacles can be tackled to an extent by planning ahead.
In my country, the rising unemployment rate will be the biggest challenge in the coming years. Currently the rate of unemployment is higher compared to past years and it is expected to increase in the following years. To illustrate, since the Middle Eastern countries initiated the drive to restrict the jobs to their nationals, millions of expats will be returning to India as jobless over the years and considering the current scenario the percent of unemployed people will further increase. However, the rate of unemployment can be suppressed to an extent by the government through special reforms to support startup companies and allow more foreign investments of well reputed companies. Thus, individuals can be entrepreneurs rather than waiting for a job and foreign investments will be creating more job opportunities.
In addition, the current under developed public health care system will create a challenge in the imminent future. The country lacks a profound public health care system in several of its states and cannot withstand the current population growth rate as health issues are likely to increase. Those who cannot afford the luxury of private hospitals will be denied advanced care and in some cases even basic treatments. For instance, a large proportion of the Indian population live in poor economic conditions and for them accessing healthcare in private health institutes would be unimaginable. Yet, it can be addressed with adequate measures such as improving the public health care institutes and building new ones. Setting up advanced health care centres in the nook and corner of the country will give access to everyone. Therefore, the Indian government can control the future health issues of its states.
To conclude, attracting foreign investment and entertaining startup companies will reduce the unemployment rate and improved public health centers which are accessible to every individual will keep health issues in control.
