Some people think that young people must be involved in household chores when they are able to do those. This essay is in complete agreement with this assertion because it helps them become independent and responsible in the long run.
To begin with, it is common in the developed countries for parents to want their offspring to stand on their feet by the time they reach teenage. To make this happen, the initiatives must be taken from the home itself. That is persuading children to involve in household tasks by the time they are capable of doing them would gradually make them independent. This would help them tackle the difficulties that they have to face once they move away from home for higher education or for employment.
Furthermore, being involved in the domestic chores would make youngsters responsible. To exemplify, nowadays parents assign specific tasks at home to their children and expect them to complete those by the end of the day as a start. This practice will make children assimilated to the habit to finish their works on time and will become their second nature. As such, being responsible is the much appreciated trait in all walks of life. For instance, one of the main qualities that every employer seeks in the employees is the dutiful nature with which one can perform the tasks assigned to them.
