British Emigration To Selected Destinations

Sample report

The bar chart illustrates the number of British people who migrated to five countries (Australia, Spain, New Zealand, the USA and France) between 2004 and 2007. Overall, it can be seen that in all the four years, Australia was the most favoured destination while the US and New Zealand were the least favoured. In 2004, over 40,000 British people moved to Australia and this number jumped to around 52,000 in 2006 and then it declined a little. About 35,000 people migrated to Spain in the first two years and this number dropped over the next two years and reached about 27000 by 2007. Migration to France was the highest in 2005 (32000) and the lowest in 2007 (19,000). Approximately, the same number of Brits moved to New Zealand and the USA in 2004 (23,000) and 2007 (20,000). The popularity of New Zealand as an emigration destination continuously decreased over the given time frame. Meanwhile, the number of British emigrants to the USA fluctuated during the given period.
