People are fond of celebrities and their extravagant lifestyle. Being popular has its own merits as well as demerits. However, in my opinion, the benefits that fame bring far outweigh the downsides.
To start with, money pours in with fame. Celebrities become opulent in a short span of time. For instance, many actors ask for astronomical remunerations once their movie joins the hundred crore club. No other profession renders a person affluent instantly. Consequently, fame enhances their living standards. Such people often lead a luxurious life with numerous provisions. Most of the famous personalities are known to have a plethora of homes and cars in different parts of the world. Additionally, the multitude of helpers/assistants makes their life stress free. These prominent personalities have myriads of people working round the clock to look after their individual needs. To exemplify, most of them have their own personal dietician and physical trainers to meet their requirements. This makes their day to day more efficient and hassle free.
On the flipside, there are a few disadvantages to being a renowned personality. One of the main problems is the lack of privacy. These people are constantly being followed by the media people and their fans who want to catch a glimpse of them. This intrusion of people into the lives of the sportspersons or film stars makes them always exposed. Moreover, they are continuously judged by the society. Their each and every activity and carefully interpreted and criticized immensely by the public and this hurts them emotionally.
In conclusion, being famous has both advantages as well as disadvantages. However, I personally believe that the wealth and ample amenities that a celebrity achieves compensates for any downsides of stardom.
In some countries , the average weight of people is increasing and their levels of health and fitness is decreasing. What do you think are the causes of these problems and what measures could be taken to solve them?
In many nations across the world, obesity among the people is on the rise, and this result in declining their level of fitness and health. In this essay, I will examine certain factors contributing to this problem and will also suggest some solutions for the same.
There are innumerable reasons for the increase in weight in people. One of the prominent reasons is the lack of exercise. In other words, individuals are highly occupied in their busy sedentary lifestyle. As a result, they have less time for regular workouts or any physical activities. Another primary cause is the excessive consumption of readymade or junk foods. This is because fast foods are cheap to purchase and easy to prepare. Studies have demonstrated that many young minds have grown up on a diet of convenience foods which is an unhealthy diet. Because of these above-mentioned reasons, not only the average weight of people is increasing, but also it leads to various detrimental health disorders such as diabetes, heart disease, and many more.
Nevertheless, solutions are available to tackle this adverse problem. Firstly, people should maintain regular workouts like cardio exercises, yoga, Zumba, or involvement in any outdoor activities. This is because regular exercise is extremely essential in maintaining a healthy body. Exercise burns calories and helps to build healthy bones and muscles. For instance, The Newyork times published in an article that doctors advise exercising at least 3 times a week for 20 minutes. Another important solution to diminish the overweight issue is that the government should launch health awareness campaigns and ban misleading the products that encourage the consumption of fast food. Consequently, people are less attracted to unhealthy meals and prefer to have fresh homemade food.
To conclude, although the lack of exercise and intake of unhealthy food is the cause of overweight. However, I firmly believe that “Health is wealth” and this essay has suggested imperative measures to overcome this problem.
