People often wonder whether adolescence is better than adulthood. Some think so while others disagree. In my opinion, each stage in life has its pros and cons.

Adolescence is certainly an enjoyable period of time. Teens have few things to worry about. They are not required to earn money or support a family. As a result, many of them have plenty of free time that they can use to engage in activities they enjoy. Even the criminal law is kind to teenagers. Offences committed by teens attract less severe punishments than offences committed by adults. On the flip side, teenage is also a period of great emotional turmoil. Teens are neither kids nor adults and have a strong need for freedom. They do not like it when their parents or teachers attempt to make them behave.

By contrast, adults are more mature and responsible. Many of them have a job to meet their expenses. They have less free time than teens, but most of them simply do not care. They are more focused on their careers and want to achieve something in life. Since their family and the law treat them as mature individuals, they enjoy a greater level of freedom. For example, they can decide what they want to do with their life. They can choose a job of their liking or they can choose not to work at all. While teens are minors adults are majors capable of entering into contracts enforceable by the law.

After looking at both sides of the situation, it is not hard to see that adolescence and adulthood have their upsides and downsides. In my opinion, it is therefore wrong to claim that one stage of life is better or happier than another stage.

Many people believe that adolescence phase of life is more cheerful than adulthood life period. There are many reasons for believing this is that such as life under age of 18 has been less worrying, responsibilities, and financial pressure are also very minimal as compared to adults.

It is true for the fact that teenagers are very few worrying about their lives and spent happily time with friends and relatives. One main reason for this is that, mostly they live with their parents or guardians. So, they need not to think about settlement of life in every aspect such as to cook food, wash clothes, expenses for their livelihood and study’s fees.
In addition to this, if they find difficulties in any type of work or face a problem, they could take help of their parents. However, teens, who are not living with their parents, for example, in western culture, have less pressure to settle in their lives.

In contrast to this, adult have much pressure and responsibilities in every day and settlement of life permanently. As an illustration, middle-class people are more worrying as compared to high-income people as money is necessary in every field of life, such as, he needs to earn wealth to fulfill his family’s needs , namely, to pay children’s fees, to provide food, shelter, medications, clothes , and to take them for outings or amusements.

In conclusion, I agree that adolescence stage of life goes more delightful as adulthood except in a few cases, where teens do not get the support from their parents. However, mature people feel more pressure, especially in case of average-income family in comparison to a person who has sufficient funds or gets support from his parents.
