You are doing a short course in another country. Your accommodation was arranged by the course provider. There is a major problem with the accommodation. Write a letter to the course provider. In your letter,

- ask the provider to solve the problem
Band 8 IELTS letter sample
Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the accommodation which is being provided to me by your Institute at Skylok Residency, Kolkata. What I have been given / allocated is a one-bed room apartment with not kitchen in it. Though it has an attached bathroom, there is no water during most of the day. Moreover, the sink has developed a crack resulting in the leakage of water. Consequently, the floor beneath it is always wet increasing the risk of slipping and falling.
I was hoping to get a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a bathroom as I prefer to cook my food rather than eat / eating out due to health issues. My request had also been approved by the accommodation officer. However, the room I received is nowhere close to what I wanted. So I request you to make appropriate arrangements for my housing as per the guidelines of the institute at the earliest.
