Band 8 IELTS Letter Sample
Dear Arun,
I am glad that you have decided to learn driving and I am more than happy to provide you with any guidance or tips. Getting a driving license is no doubt very useful. You will no longer be dependent on others for transportation, when you have the license to drive the vehicle yourself.
I would recommend that you go to a driving school in order to master the basics of driving. I know there are a couple of good driving schools in the neighbourhood, but I personally recommend the “Star Driving School”. They have well qualified instructors as their staff.
Usually the driving school programs come in packages with fixed driving hours. I suggest you make the optimum use of the driving hours. And before you start familiarize yourself with the traffic rules and regulations. The official website of the “Road Transport Department” has a lot of useful material that you can read and follow. You will probably not pass the test in the first attempt, but that is not a reason to despair. You could sign up for additional driving hours and take the test again. I am sure with more practice, comes more confidence, which helps in clearing the test.
I wish you all the best.
Best Regards,
John
Hello Mam. Would like to get feedback on my below letter.
Hello Misha,
How are you? Hope you and Bob are doing well. I am writing to help you with my driving learning experience and would love to guide you for the same. After joining Ken’s Driving School and practising enough, I have cleared my driving test last month.
It was great learning and he really helped me to guide with all the rules and
key skills to drive perfectly and safely.
I applied for the licence in November and was really nervous about the test. However, it is the basic need nowadays and has a driving licence as it makes us independent and secure. You will be penalised by the cops if you are driving without a license.
I would recommend you to get trained from Ken. As he is having 8 years of training experience and is a government certified tutor. You can contact him and book your slot as per the availability. Driving needs confidence and concentration, and I am sure you have both.
Hope to see you soon.
Warm Regards,
Etisha Jain
