In most universities students focus on specialised subjects, however some people believe that universities should encourage students to study a wide spectrum of subjects. To want extent you agree or disagree? Give your opinion.

Student’s essay

Students have myriad of options in universities to pursue further studies. People have number of opinions, some believe students should not focus on specialized area rather they should do wide range of subjects, and universities should promote the same. One should have knowledge of all subjects but in my opinion, student’s focus should be on specialized area only. It will give a proper direction to a students from the scratch. It is good to become master of one rather then jack of all.

First of all, focus on single subject or object is required, that give purpose to life and one can set defined goal and  proper vision life. For example, after graduation many students still search for an option which way to go and they waste valuable time. Even after deciding the line, without focus they face failure in multiple attempts. And, that would lead to stress and anxiety.

Further more, it is always good to be master of one if want to touch the success. Giving full potential in single area always preferable. It will make capable of delivering service to society or to country with quality. For instance, a students focus on single subject like heart surgeon in medical line, and learn all aspects of single specialized subject then it can serve society with quality and can help county also to make a better place.

In my opinion, one should learn all subjects and should have knowledge of all subjects; however, students should focus only on specialized area and universities should encourage the same.
