Band 8 IELTS essay sample

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Sarath and I am an international student at the University of Sweden and I have a student account in your bank with IN986 customer ID. I would like to inform you that my parents had transferred some money to your bank yesterday. Unfortunately, due to some technical error, the transaction could not be completed from the originated bank. Therefore   if you could grant me a short term loan, it will be really appreciable.

Next Friday, June 17th, is the last date for paying the examination fee for the fourth semester. If I am unable to pay this amount before the due date, I will not be able to write the exam.   Therefore, I am humbly requesting you to consider my request favorably.

I would like to inform you that the loan will be paid back as soon as my parent’s money gets / is credited to my account.  I was told by the manager of the originating bank that the error would be resolved within 2 months.

Eagerly awaiting your kind reply to proceed further

Yours sincerely,

    Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a graduate student here and have an international account(account number SHC00247823) in your bank and usually in that account, my parents transfer money by the first week of every month for my livelihood. But this month, due to unforeseen circumstances my parents have failed to send money and, I am writing this letter to request you to grant me a loan of $1000.

I need this money immediately because I have to pay my house rent; otherwise, my house-owner will order to vacant the house. Moreover, I have left with very little money for my travel and food, so I need it. I expect that it would not be a problem for you to approve a loan to me, owing to my clean bank history and good CIBIL score. I will try to return it by the next month once my guardians will transfer it to my account. I am happy to pay the interest rate for the lent money.

I am looking forward to an affirmative response.

    Yours faithfully,
    Balraj Singh

    Dear Sir/Madam
This letter is written to ask if you could help me with landing some money for July month as this month I received my payment late from my parents due to some problem at their bank.
I Rahi Desai, a second-year postgraduate student of Sweden University having an account no. 6530692. Though every month I have been receiving money from my guardians on time, there were some issues at their bank this month so I have not received anything. Consequently, I request you to lend me some amount for this month.
Since it is starting off the third quarter, I have to pay my college fees and it should be paid within fifteen days. Due to the non-receipt of money, I am unable to pay my fees. So if you could assist me with the amount equal to my fees, I will be able to pay my dues.
I will make sure that I will pay my debt as and when I received payment from my guardians’ end.
Thank you for giving the matter to your attention and hoping for the best that you will land me some money.
    Yours faithfully,
    Rahi Desai
