Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in reference to the advertisement for some volunteers to work at the City Hall Museum. I am keen to apply for this position / keen to submit my candidature and I have enclosed my Curriculum Vitae for your perusal.
It will be my pleasure to contribute my knowledge and expertise to this museum which is actually the symbol of ancient glories of my country. I have known this place since my childhood, as my father had worked here for fifteen years in the administration department. Hence, I used to frequent this place and now this is an opportunity for me to contribute by volunteering.
As you may see in my CV, I have just finished my studies and had architecture as my main subject; therefore, I am sure I could help in the renovation of the building. Moreover, I am fluent in French and Spanish which makes me more suitable for this work since I can converse with foreigners with much ease.
I am about to submit my final thesis by next Monday and afterwards I will be available to work if you select me. Please let me know in case you need any further details.
