Dear Sir,
I am writing this to express my interest in being a speaker on your college’s international day. I wish to give a small talk about my country to students from foreign cultures. Let me explain in detail.
Last week I saw your college advert in the newspaper regarding the celebration of an international day. I would like to give a speech pertaining to my homeland India. Furthermore, my talk will consist of several different topics like rich Indian culture, traditions followed in my nation, different festivals of my country and so on. Since most of the students in your college prefer India as their first option for doing an internship because of the wide job opportunities available there; therefore, my detailed discussion regarding India will help them to understand the nation and its people. Moreover, it will give them an opportunity to do their best during their summer training in India.
It would be very kind of you if you could do small arrangements for my lecture like arranging a mic and some speakers and also a stage from where I can give the talk.
