Band 8 IELTS letter sample
Dear Riya,
It’s been so long since I last heard from you! I was so excited to see a letter from you! Regarding the camping holiday you wrote about in the letter, I think you should absolutely go for it. I’m sure that you will have a wonderful time being so close to the nature. It is a unique experience staying in the woods far away from the city life watching and hearing the birds and other animals.
However, I’d advise you to be cautious during your camping. Try to keep yourself away from insects, especially mosquitoes. I’d recommend carrying some mosquito repellents with you. Also make sure you carry enough food and ingredients, especially if you are planning to cook. Otherwise, you will end up starving as it is not possible to find an eatery nearby.
Don’t forget to take the first aid kit with you, in case of any minor injuries. I’d have loved to go camping with you this summer but I’m afraid it might not be possible because we are going on a vacation to Europe. I’ll keep you posted on this!
