Dear …..,
I had received your letter offering some work in your company. However, I am unable to take up the work for the next three months as a critical project has been assigned to me in the company.
I have heard a lot about your organization and its nature of work. I had applied for the position of an accountant right after my graduation in the company. But unfortunately, I was not able to pass the second round of written test at that time. As part of the recruitment, I had done some research on the services of the firm that time and I was really impressed by the company’s customer interaction and employee friendly work culture. However, I am afraid that I would not be able to accept your offer because I was recently appointed as a project lead for a duration of three months in the absence of a senior employee.
I am glad that you considered me for an opening in your firm. I would like to accept the offer after three months if the position remains open. I look forward to hearing from you.
