Band 7.5 IELTS Letter Sample
Dear John
I received your letter yesterday and I am concerned about the eye infection you have because of your office environment. It’s a common problem that nowadays most of the offices don’t have natural light and rely on the artificial lamps and bulbs, which not only emit heat but are also infectious to eyes. The problem becomes even worse if one is sitting very close to these light sources.
You won’t believe that I also had a similar issue at my workplace. My team was sitting in a small room and the bulb was right on top of my head, that too with very strong light, which eventually led to an infection in my right eye. The situation aggravated after some time and I started getting irritated whenever I was exposed to a light bulb or tube light at night.
I went to a doctor and he recommended some eye drops. However I decided to take this matter up with the office management and you know what they changed the problematic lights to better ones. They also changed my seat to a place which had much better natural light. After a few days I was all good.
