Band 8 IELTS essay sample

Dear Amelia,

Hope you are doing great. It has been a long time since I wrote to you. I’m just writing this letter to tell you that I have found a music teacher for your child.

The teacher has more than 15 years of experience in teaching music. In particular, he has been working as a choir master in our local church for the past 10 years. Moreover, he is teaching guitar lessons in various schools and colleges.

Since your child is in school, I think evening sessions are better/more suitable for her. The teacher is also available to take private sessions in the evenings during weekdays. Also, he is a very humble person and I hope this person will definitely help your child to polish her talents in music.

I got his contact details and his phone number from a neighbor. I am sending it to you so that you can contact him through the phone number and ask for further details. Keep in mind, he will answer calls only after 4 pm on weekdays.

Let me know your thoughts.

Best regards,

Benisha

    Dear John

Hope you are doing fine & its been ages, since we met each other last time. I am writing this letter to let you know that I have founded one music instructor for your child.

From the past 15 years, he is providing the coaching in all chores of musical instruments at his institute named ” Rock Music”. Not only this, he is also working with many renowned music directors of film industry & holds the world record in playing piano at a very fast pace.

Since, this academy is at a stone’s throw away distance from your child school, so he can easily commute there after school hours. Apart from this, this institute is specialized in providing training to infants & one can learn to play variety of musical instruments under a same roof.

You can reach them by filing their admission form available at their web portal “www.musicrocks.com” or can call them. After that fix an appointment with them & complete the admission formalities.

Hope you would like my suggestion & update me once you visit there.

    Dear Chris,

How are you? I hope this letter finds you and your kids well. I’ve received your letter and since then I’ve been searching for a suitable music teacher for your daughter; Lara and finally I found him.

Fortunately, I came across an advertisement in the local newspaper about music classes for beginners and there is a specific class for young children. The teacher who is responsible for the kids class is called Mr. John Adam, he is a 50-year old teacher who has a certificate of 10 years experience in giving music classes for children.

You know what, the reason why I think this class will be convenient for you is that it is in Hill Street in downtown Toronto which means it is very close to your apartment.

I’ve already taken a photo of the advert which contains the exact location and a telephone number and I’ll attach it with this letter so you’ll be able to contact the teacher if you’ve any enquiries.

I really hope this will be helpful.

Best of luck for beautiful Lara,

    Yours,
    Jay
