Band 7.5 IELTS letter sample

Dear Neighbours,

I am writing this letter to discuss the ongoing traffic problem in our area.

Let me explain the problems in detail. As you are all aware each one of us has a designated parking slot; unfortunately, since the beginning of this month / for the last two weeks a number of residents have not been parking their vehicles on their allotted parking space. Moreover, recently I have noticed that some new vehicles which are not listed under our parking are also occupying our space. As a result, many people are suffering from an insufficient parking area.

I would like to request you all to park your vehicle at your allotted space in order to ensure the availability of space for others. If a person owns more than one car, it can be parked in the nearest ground.

I would also like to meet you all together in our auditorium on coming Sunday at 4 pm for further discussion to resolve this problem.

Looking forward to your responses

Yours sincerely,

(Your name)

    Dear Neighbours
    Greetings of the Day!
I am writing this letter to convey the parking problem we all must be facing in our common parking space and propose a meeting to discuss it.
The main problem is the occupancy of parking spaces near the lift. It is difficult to carry baby and groceries from parking spaces far away from the lift. Even it is a risk for the children to walk from cars to lift due to bad light in the parking area.
I think number of parking spaces near the lift are enough for each house to park their one car. So, I suggest we should park only one of our cars near the lift and rest on other parking spaces.
I hope more suggestions will help to solve the problem in amiable manner. Therefore, I would like to propose a meeting of all residents on coming Monday in the society park.
I look forward to hearing from you.

    Yours Truly
    Rajinder Sandhu
