You recently stayed in a hotel in a large city. The weather was very unusual for the time of year and the heating / cooling system in the hotel was quite inadequate. Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter:
- give details of what went wrong
- explain what you had to do to overcome the problem at the time
- say what action you would like the manager to take

I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with my stay at your hotel Sheraton Grande. Unfortunately, due to the malfunctioning of the air conditioner, the three nights I spent at your hotel were quite miserable.
It was 12.30 PM when I arrived at the hotel. I wanted to rest for sometime after the tiring journey from Delhi to Chennai. When I switched on the AC, it started making some odd noise and was not working. I called reception stating the issue and they promised to fix it in 2 hours but no help arrived. I had to manage with the fan for the entire night.
I chose your hotel after reading the reviews online, but much to my chagrin I realized that they were not exactly true. I would like you to refund the extra amount which I have paid for the AC room. In addition, I request you to check all the amenities before allocating room to customers.
