We recently moved to our native place from Mumbai. Since we had been living in Mumbai for several years, we had collected a lot of stuff. Actually, we started packing our bags several weeks before the move and sent a great deal of them via a company offering this service. We still had several items like gas stove, fans, cooker, television, computers, clothes and other items with us. As these were the stuff we used every day, we were not in favour of sending them several days in advance. So, we thought that we would do it on the day we were leaving. We had a morning flight and we had to be at the airport by 6 am. Although we all woke up at 2 am and the airport was only a 30 minutes drive away, the packing took a great deal of time. We had the help of our friends; still there were a lot of things to pack and we found ourselves doing everything in a hurry. The whole experience was pretty stressful and we blamed ourselves for not doing this earlier. Actually, we only managed to pack some essential items before we leave. We had to leave the rest in the care of our friends. We did manage to reach the airport on time but during whole the journey we kept blaming ourselves for messing things up. I am not good at doing things in a hurry so now I think twice before leaving things to the last minute.
