It is suggested that the urge to earn more money makes the workers more dedicated towards their work. Therefore, some people argue that sales companies should hire such people. In my opinion, it is irrefutable to say that monetary gains propel the salespersons to work more efficiently. The essay will also shed light on the other aspects to be considered while employing candidates for the sales positions.

To commence with, money plays a pivotal role in everyone’s life. Therefore, it has become a motivational factor for people to work diligently. Moreover, the job of salesperson is not an easy task as they have to deal with people from all walks of life. So, they need to be patient and require a consistent source of motivation to do their job effectively. In this materialistic world, this motivation can only be in the form of monetary benefits that augment the dedication of a worker towards his work. Evidently, money is the key to make a person work more laboriously and dexterously in his job.

However, greed alone will not make someone a good salesperson. There are several other aspects that should be taken into consideration while employing staff for sales position. Firstly, the academic qualifications should be considered. The prospective aspirants should possess a relevant degree for the job. Apart from this, their level of patience, communication skills and persuasive power play a crucial role in such business. So, these factors should definitely be taken into consideration. Moreover, the conduct of applicants and their previous work experience in similar domains are important. In my opinion, these are the important factors that should be taken into view while hiring salespersons.

To conclude, in today’s world, people work only for money.  Therefore, monetary incentives have become a key for employees to work hard. However, there are other aspects such as qualifications and marketing skills that should be considered while employing a salesperson.
